Speed Stacks Gen5 Mat - Speedstacking

The original Speed Stacks Gen5 mat for speedstacking (sport stacking) in black. It is sold without a timer and works only with the Speed Stacks G5 timer. It's a great replacement for a worn-out mat or a mat for anyone who already has a G5 timer bought separately.

Timer mounting in G5

In older generations, the timer was inserted into holes in the mat. With frequent removal and reattachment, these holes could tear. In Gen5, Speed Stacks changed the shape of the mat and the mounting method. The timer snaps onto buttons (snap-in system), so it doesn't fall off the mat after a harder hit, and mounting it doesn't damage the material.

Compatibility: read before you buy

• The Gen5 mat works only with the G5 timer. Gen3 and Gen4 timers cannot be mounted on it.
• The package contains the mat only. The timer and carrying bag are not included.
• The mat is approved by the WSSA (World Sport Stacking Association), so you train on the same equipment that is used at sport stacking competitions.

Speedstacking or speedcubing?

Speed Stacks makes two mats in the G5 standard: the StackMat for cup stacking (this product) and a separate mat for speedcubing. With a G5 timer, you can also time your cube solves on this mat, because the timer has a 2-pad mode for cubing. However, if you're buying a mat mainly for cubes, it's better to choose the speedcubing version.

Who is it for?

For people who practice sport stacking, as well as schools and clubs that use G5 timers and need a spare or new mat. The mat can be rolled up, so it's easy to take to training sessions or competitions.
