VinCube 3x3 Lite

VinCube 3x3 Lite is the entry-level version of the VIN3, the first 3x3 cube from Vin Cube. The series comes in three versions: Lite, Racer and Nova. Lite is the simplest and most affordable of them. It has magnets in the pieces, a matte surface and the same adjustment system as the Racer, but no Ball-Core, MagLev or UV coating. We offer it in stickerless bright.

How it turns

48 magnets in the pieces pull the layers into place at the end of each move. The cube "finishes" the turn for you, so you leave misaligned layers less often and solving feels smoother. According to distributors' descriptions, the Lite is meant to be a smooth, stable cube without excess technology. There are no independent reviews yet that describe its feel in detail. That's why we don't make any specific claims here about corner cutting or popping resistance.

The surface is frosted, meaning matte. It offers good grip and shows fingerprints less than a glossy UV coating.

Adjustment

The Lite has the same adjustment system as the Racer: 8 tension levels and 8 compression levels, giving 128 combinations. You can set the cube looser and faster, or tighter if you prefer more control. That's a lot of options for an entry-level model.

Lite, Racer or Nova?

• Lite: magnets in the pieces, matte finish. The only version without UV coating.
• Racer: adds Ball-Core, magnets inside the core that stabilize the layers during fast turning. Has UV coating.
• Nova: the flagship version with Ball-Core, MagLev (repelling magnets instead of springs) and UV coating.

The more expensive versions mainly offer a more stable core and a different turning feel. For getting started or for everyday practice, these extras aren't necessary.

Who is it for?

For anyone buying their first magnetic 3x3 cube, and for parents looking for a good cube for their child. It also works well as a cheaper backup cube for practice. If you already solve fast and want stronger stabilization at high TPS, take a look at the Racer or Nova instead.
