How this case works

It is a clam-shell case, which means it opens like a shell: the top half swings open on a hinge. Inside, it has magnets that keep it closed. The lid shuts with a distinct click and won't open by itself in your backpack. The clear walls let you see the cube without opening the case. This is handy when you have several similar 3x3s, and it looks nice on a shelf.
