Z pp-box for 5.7cm cube

The Z pp-box for 5.7cm cube from Zcube is a small, clear box made of PP plastic for 3x3 cubes up to 57 mm. It protects your cube from dust, dirt and scratches when you carry it in your backpack, take it to competitions or keep it on a shelf. It won't make your solves any better, but it helps a well set-up and lubed cube stay clean and scratch-free for longer.

Which cubes does it fit?

The box is designed for 3x3 cubes up to 5.7 cm. Most popular speed cubes, which are usually around 55-57 mm, fit this size. Smaller puzzles, such as 2x2 cubes or mini 3x3 cubes, will fit too, although they will have some room to move inside. Larger cubes, such as 3x3 cubes of 60 mm or more, most 4x4 cubes and puzzles with protruding parts, won't fit.

What is it for?

  • Transport. In your backpack, the cube doesn't rub against keys, pens and other items, so its surface (including a UV coating) and stickers stay free of scratches.
  • Storage. A cube you're not using at the moment doesn't collect dust. This matters especially for freshly lubed mechanisms.
  • Collection. The clear walls let you see at a glance which cube is inside, so the boxes also work well for displaying your collection on a shelf.
  • Gift. It's simple, inexpensive packaging when you give someone a cube without its original box.

Compared with a pouch, a box gives better protection, because its rigid walls stop anything from pressing against the cube. On the other hand, it takes up a bit more space. If you mainly want something compact for your bag, a pouch is the better choice. If your cube needs to survive transport without any risk, go for the box.

    MOCNO RYSUJE KOSTKĘ

    Z początku to pudełko wydawało się super, ale po 2 dniach noszenia w nim NOWEJ kostki od XMD (CH Tornado V2 M Enhanced) zauważyłem dość spore rysy układające się w kształt prostokątów na 2 przeciwległych górnych krawędziach kostki względem wieczka. Stwierdziłem, że może to być defekt fabryczny, ale dla pewności wkładałem kostkę zorientowaną w inny sposób niż wcześniej i powstały dokładnie takie same rysy na 2 innych krawędziach. Problem w tym, że nie widzę co dokładnie powoduje powstawanie tych rys, ale jestem przekonany, że nie powstały z innego powodu bo za każdym razem (jako że jest nowa) oglądałem kostkę przed włożeniem do pudełka.
    Pierwszy raz zawiodłem się tak bardzo na produkcie sprzedawanym na Strefie Kostek, a to nadzwyczajne bo z rożnych kont jestem ich regularnym klientem od około 3-4 lat.

    Jeżeli macie dosyć drogą kostkę a nie macie na nią takiego pudełeczka to musicie je zamówić. Gdy kostka jest np. włożona do woreczka. Jest w plecaku i np ją przygnieciecie kostka może się połamać bo woreczek nie uchroni w takiej sytuacji. Wystarczy włożyć ją do takiego boxa i potem do woreczka i potem jesteście pewni że kostka jest bezpieczna.
