Cubicle FZ-Stealth Lube

Cubicle FZ-Stealth Lube 4 ml

Cubicle FZ-Stealth Lube is a newer lube from TheCubicle's FZ series. The series is developed by FZ (Hongyuan Fu), a speedcuber and chemist. Like FZ-Calm and FZ-Rush, Stealth is not a silicone lube. Unlike FZ-Rush and the older FZ-Glide, it also contains no water. It is based on hydroxyl compounds. The lube speeds up your cube, smooths out scratchy turning and makes the mechanism quieter. We sell it in a 4 ml bottle with a built-in brush.

What FZ-Stealth does

The manufacturer describes it as a very fast lube with a slight hint of smoothness. Users most often mention three things: the cube turns noticeably lighter and gets quieter, yet it doesn't become uncontrollable. Some people notice that the full effect only appears after one or two solves, once the lube has spread across the pieces. Opinions on longevity vary. The FZ series is known for lasting a long time, but some users found that Stealth dried out faster than FZ-Calm.

You can mix FZ-Stealth with other FZ lubes and with thicker track lubes, e.g. silicone ones. This makes it easy to adjust the ratio towards more speed or more control.

Bottle with a brush

• A soft brush in the cap lets you apply the lube directly to the pieces, without dripping and without extra tools.
• Rotating clicking base. Each turn of the base pushes a small amount of lube onto the brush, so it's easy to control how much you apply.
• A tight cap prevents leaks when the lube is in your backpack or competition bag.

How to use: remove the cap, turn the base clockwise until the brush is soaked, and spread the lube over the pieces of your cube.

Who is it for?

For cubers who want to speed up and quieten their cube without silicone, and then easily remove the old lube. According to the manufacturer, FZ-Stealth is suitable for all puzzles, including bigger cubes and smart cubes. If you prefer a clearly calmer, more controllable feel, you may be happier with FZ-Calm or a mix of both lubes.
