Cubicle FZ-Super Honey Lube 5 ml

Cubicle FZ-Super Honey is a very thick and sticky cube lube from the FZ series. It comes in handy when a new cube is too fast out of the box and hard to control. It has an amber-orange colour. It is not a silicone lube. It is based on hydroxyl compounds instead. It forms a thin, film-like layer between the pieces, which makes turning slower, smoother and more "controlled". The bottle contains 5 ml.

What it's for

Super Honey is a typical track lube, meaning it goes on the tracks the pieces slide along. It is not meant for lubing the pieces themselves. It works best in cubes that tend to overshoot and slip past a layer too easily. Once applied, the cube slows down and gives you more control. You'll also like it if you simply enjoy a heavy, thick feel.

It is one of the heaviest lubes in the Cubicle range, so you really need only a little. Applied to the pieces or in large amounts, it slows the cube down a lot and makes it very sticky. User opinions agree: at first the cube is noticeably slow and needs a longer break-in, but afterwards the effect lasts a very long time. Some cubers combine Super Honey with a lighter lube so they don't lose too much speed.

How to apply

• Remove one edge and use the included applicator to apply a very small amount of lube on both sides of the edge track.
• Reassemble the cube and break it in thoroughly. Only then decide whether you need to add more lube.
• If you want to use other lubes, apply them only after breaking in the cube.

The lube is water-soluble. If you use too much, you can easily remove the excess with water and a tissue.

Who is it for?

For cubers who want to tame a fast cube or who like heavy, controlled setups. If your cube is slow or you're looking for a lube that adds speed, a lighter lube will be a better choice. Super Honey works the other way round.
