HaiTun WaveRider V2 3x3 Flagship is a 56 mm magnetic speed cube from the second generation of the WaveRider series. The line comes in four versions: Standard, Flagship, Pioneer and Ultimate. All of them have a magnetic Ball-Core and the same adjustment system, and they differ mainly in the number of magnets. The Flagship has 70 in total, noticeably fewer than the Pioneer and Ultimate. We offer it in the stickerless bright color scheme.

How it turns

Reviews of the WaveRider V2 agree on its overall character: the cube is fast but controllable, and its corner cutting forgives imprecise moves, including reverse corner cutting. Users praise its out-of-the-box setup. Some point out a slightly "hollow" sound during very fast turning, which may become more noticeable after lubing.

Fewer magnets than in the Pioneer and Ultimate usually means a lighter, less "snappy" magnetic feel when aligning layers. It's a good choice if you don't like a very strong click on every move.

Ball-Core and adjustment

Flagship, Pioneer or Ultimate?

The versions have the same size and adjustment range. The difference is the number of magnets and, as a result, the strength of the magnetic layer alignment: the Flagship has 70 magnets, the Pioneer 82 and the Ultimate 94. If you prefer strong auto-alignment and maximum stability, consider the heavier versions. The Flagship suits lighter, smoother turning.

Who is it for?

For speedcubers or casual solvers who want a fully adjustable magnetic cube with a Ball-Core and like lighter magnets. Thanks to its wide range of settings, it will benefit most those who enjoy tuning their setup to their own preferences. For a child's first cube, a simpler magnetic model is usually enough.
