MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 3x3 20M Ball-Core MagLev UV

The top-of-the-range version of the WeiLong WRM V10, MoYu's flagship 3x3 cube from 2024. The MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 3x3 20M Ball-Core MagLev UV has a 20-magnet Ball-Core, a MagLev system instead of springs and a glossy UV coating. According to the manufacturer, the cube contains 100 magnets in total. Variant available in our shop: stickerless bright.

How it turns

This version is fast and light to turn. Users describe the feel as smooth with a slight crunch, and some find it fairly blocky and tactile. The magnets are medium to strong, and the layers clearly "click" into place. Reviewers praise its corner cutting and good resistance to popping and corner twists. However, the cube needs fairly accurate turning, because imprecise moves lead to lockups. Out of the box it can feel dry and sandy, so it's worth lubing it right away.

MagLev, Ball-Core and adjustment

• MagLev: instead of springs, the cube uses repelling magnets. This makes turning lighter and faster than in the spring version.
• 20-magnet Ball-Core: magnets between the corners and the core help align the layers and keep the cube stable, so it stays controllable despite the MagLev.
• 8 compression levels and 8 tension levels: a numbered system without a classic screw, adjusted with the key included in the set. It's easy to set all faces the same way.
• Magnet strength is not adjustable.

Be careful when disassembling the cube, as the MagLev magnets can crack and the UV-coated pieces are quite fragile.

Which V10 version?

The WRM V10 comes in four main versions: standard (frosted), standard UV, Ball-Core UV with springs and Ball-Core MagLev UV. All of them have the same adjustment ranges. Ball-Core adds stability and auto-alignment. MagLev adds a bit of speed and a lighter, more "floating" turning feel, but that's a matter of taste. Some cubers prefer the calmer feel of springs.

Who is it for?

For a speedcuber with a light, accurate turning style who wants a fast cube with magnets in the core. A beginner will handle it without any problems, but the cheaper standard version will give them most of what they need for learning.
