How the magic snake works

Neighbouring blocks are connected by a joint that rotates in steps and has 4 fixed positions. With 36 pieces, this gives you far more possibilities than shorter versions, so you can build bigger and more complex figures. The puzzle has no magnets. You can feel each position under your fingers, so it is easy to count the turns and repeat a figure from a diagram.

24, 36 or more blocks?
