QiYi Chips 3x3 M

QiYi Chips 3x3 M is a magnetic learning cube with a yellow and red pattern that looks like French fries (its Chinese name actually means "fries cube"). The red stripes stand out clearly against the yellow tiles, so it's easy to see what happens after every move.

Two main colors

The faces are dominated by two clearly different colors. This makes things much easier for anyone who is just learning how the pieces move around the cube. Instead of keeping track of six colors, you follow the layout of the stripes and quickly see whether a move brought you closer to the goal. It also takes fewer steps and algorithms to solve than a standard 3x3 cube.

Build

The magnets help the layers settle into place and reduce the loose, wobbly feel typical of older cubes for kids. The ABS plastic has a matte finish that doesn't pick up fingerprints or look shiny. The cube is stickerless. The 55.5 mm size is comfortable for kids' hands too.

Who is it for?
