QiYi Clock Pouch, a case for your Clock

A Clock doesn't do well rattling around loose in a backpack. The pins can get knocked out of position, the faces and the body get scratched, and dust gets into the mechanism. The QiYi Clock Pouch is a round zippered case designed for the QiYi Clock. It has the same shape as the puzzle itself, so your Clock doesn't slide around inside the way it would in a regular square cube bag.

How it's made

The pouch is made of polyurethane and weighs about 48 g, so it won't weigh down your cube bag. The zipper runs around the edge. When it's open, the Clock goes in and comes out easily. When it's closed, dust and small debris stay out. The outer layer protects the puzzle from scratches in transit, for example when other puzzles, a timer or a mat are in your backpack next to it.

This is a travel pouch, not a hard case. It protects against dust and scratches, but it won't work like a rigid shell under strong pressure or if dropped.

Which Clock does it fit?

The pouch measures approx. 130 x 130 x 50 mm and was designed for the QiYi Clock. It is guaranteed to fit this model. Other Clocks, including the classic Rubik's Clock, have a different diameter and thickness, so we can't guarantee they will fit as well. If you have a Clock from another manufacturer, compare its dimensions with those of the pouch.

Colors

The QiYi Clock Pouch is available in three colors: Blue, Pink and Orange. The color doesn't change the build or size of the pouch. It does help at competitions or at a club, though, when several similar Clocks are on the table and you need to find yours quickly.

Who is it for?

For anyone who solves Clock at competitions or regularly takes it to practice sessions or cuber meetups. The pouch is also useful if your Clock sits in a drawer with other puzzles and you want to keep dust off it. It also makes an affordable add-on to a QiYi Clock bought as a gift.
