QiYi Magnetic Clock is a magnetic Clock puzzle from QiYi. Many competitors use it in the Clock event, which is an official WCA event. The magnets work in two places: in the dial gears and in the pins. Thanks to them, the dials snap into each hour position, and the pins stop clearly in the up or down position. The shop offers the blue version.

How the QiYi Clock performs

According to users, the dials turn smoothly and every position has a clear click. When you turn fast, it's easier to land exactly on the hour, and overshooting happens less often. With three or more pins up, you can still feel some resistance, but it's noticeably lower than in older, non-magnetic clocks. The dials have rounded edges, so they don't rub your fingers even during longer sessions.

Straight out of the box, units can be fairly stiff and dry. Many people open the clock right after buying it and lube it. After lubing and a short break-in, the dials turn noticeably lighter.

Adjustment and maintenance
