A pocket-sized megaminx. It measures about 55 mm between opposite faces, and a single edge is about 24.5 mm long, so it is noticeably smaller than a standard megaminx. However, the YJ Pocket Cube mini Megaminx Ball Core is not just a scaled-down toy. Inside, it has 160 magnets and a magnetic Ball-Core, a setup you usually find in full-size speedcubing puzzles. This version is stickerless with a bright colour scheme.

How does it turn?

According to users, this mini megaminx turns like a scaled-down YJ YuHu V3, just without MagLev. Turning is smooth and light. The magnets clearly help the layers settle into place, so lockups and half-finished turns happen less often. Some people notice that the magnets feel a little less "snappy" than on the full-size YuHu. The small size takes some getting used to: with large hands and aggressive turning, an inaccurate move is more likely here than on a standard megaminx.

For regular solving, the Ball Core version is the better choice.
