A magnetic Megaminx in a pocket-sized version: about 55 mm between faces and a weight of about 83 g. It works and solves just like a full-size Megaminx, and the magnets help keep the faces in line. A great option for travel, your collection or smaller hands.

This is a full Megaminx in a pocket-sized version. The YJ Pocket Cube mini Megaminx M measures about 55 mm between opposite faces, and each face edge is about 24.5 mm long. That makes it noticeably smaller than a standard Megaminx, so it fits in your pocket or a small case. The letter M in the name stands for the magnetic version. Positioning magnets help the layers stop in an aligned position.
It has 12 faces and works exactly like a full-size Megaminx, so you practice the same algorithms and the same method on it. What changes is the grip. The whole puzzle fits in your hand, and you don't have to stretch your fingers to reach the far faces. Kids and people with smaller hands will appreciate this. The pieces are small, though. If you usually solve a full-size Megaminx, you may need a few solves to get a feel for the turning and stop catching neighbouring layers with your fingers.
The magnets give a noticeable click in the aligned position. This makes it easier to keep the faces in line and means fewer lockups caused by under-turned layers. The puzzle weighs about 83 g, so longer solving sessions won't tire your hands.
The Pocket Megaminx is also available in a Ball-Core version. It additionally has magnets in the core, i.e. in the centre of the puzzle. According to the manufacturer, that's 40 magnets in the core and 160 in total. They pull the pieces towards the centre and help the faces align on their own. The M version has no core magnets and relies on standard magnetic positioning, so the faces are not pulled into alignment as strongly. As a mini Megaminx for travel, your collection or casual solving, the M version is all you need. Ball-Core is for those who want more stable layer behaviour.
It's a great choice if you already own a Megaminx and want a travel version. It also suits collectors of miniature puzzles and kids who find the standard size too big for their hands. For timed practice, most cubers will still choose a full-size Megaminx, as it gives more room for your fingers at high TPS.
The Stickerless Bright version has no stickers. The colours are in the plastic itself, so nothing peels off or wears away.
