Z-Cube 20 Euros 3x3

A classic 3x3 cube from Z-Cube that replaces the six solid colors with artwork based on the 20 euro banknote, kept in its shades of blue. Z-Cube 20 Euros 3x3 is a so-called picture cube. The mechanism and solving rules are the same as on a regular 3x3 cube. What changes is how you recognize the pieces.

Why it's harder to solve than a regular 3x3

On a standard cube, you recognize a piece's color instantly. Here, many pieces look similar, so you need to look at parts of the picture and put each face together a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. The algorithms stay the same; you just "read" the cube differently. When the artwork covers the whole face, center orientation also comes into play. The picture is only complete when the face centers are turned the right way. On a regular 3x3, you don't have to worry about this.

UV printing instead of stickers

The artwork is UV-printed directly onto the plastic. There are no stickers that could peel off or wear at the corners, so the cube keeps looking good for longer, even with regular solving.

Who is it for?

For anyone who can already solve a 3x3 and wants a new challenge without learning new algorithms. It also works well as a collector's item, a desk decoration or a gift for someone who likes unusual gadgets. This is not a cube for timed practice. For speedcubing, a magnetic model with tension adjustment is a better choice. If you're learning to solve from scratch, a classic colored 3x3 will also be better, because it's harder to track where individual pieces go on a picture.
