Z-Cube Dollar 3x3

Z-Cube Dollar 3x3 is a picture cube in the standard 56 mm size. All six faces are printed in the style of a one-dollar bill: Washington's portrait, Federal Reserve seals, serial numbers and "One Dollar" lettering. The design is UV-printed directly onto the plastic with no stickers at all, so nothing can peel off or curl up at the corners. The surface has a matte (frosted) finish that doesn't shine and doesn't pick up fingerprints easily.

How to solve a printed cube

The faces don't have classic colors. Instead of looking for a red or blue sticker, you recognize pieces by fragments of the artwork, so even someone who knows the method well will solve more slowly at first. On cubes with a full-face picture, the center orientation usually matters too: the image is only complete when the center of each face is turned the right way. If you already know the basics, it's a fun new challenge.

Mechanism

The cube has no magnets. The layers don't snap into place on their own, and turning is simple, without a distinct "click". There are hardly any reviews describing its feel, corner cutting or behavior at high TPS. This isn't a cube for timed speedcubing, but a classic 3x3 with an interesting look.
