Z-cube 50 Euros 3x3 is a classic 3x3 cube that has a print inspired by the 50 euro banknote instead of solid colors. The graphic is UV-printed directly onto the plastic, so there are no stickers that could peel off or wear at the edges. Up close, you can see the colors, lines and numbers familiar from the banknote, and once scrambled, the cube turns into a picture puzzle.

Why it's harder to solve than a regular 3x3

The mechanism and moves are the same as in any 3x3 cube, so algorithms work exactly the same way. The difficulty lies in recognizing the pieces. On a standard cube, you can instantly see which piece is white-red. Here, many fragments have similar colors and patterns, so before every move you need to look closely at the details of the graphic. Even someone who solves a regular 3x3 with ease will need noticeably more time. On picture cubes, center orientation can also matter: if a center is rotated the wrong way, the image on that face won't come together.

For solving or for the shelf?

This cube belongs to the novelty and collector's modification category, not to record-breaking gear. It has no tension adjustment, MagLev or Ball-Core systems, and the print makes quick piece recognition harder, so it is not suitable for timed practice. It works great as:

• a challenge for a cuber who knows a solving method and wants to try something other than yet another speed cube,
• part of a collection of cubes with unusual prints,
• a gift, also for someone who doesn't solve cubes and will treat it as a desk decoration.

If you are just learning to solve, it's better to start with a regular colored 3x3 cube. On the banknote version, it's hard to tell where a given piece should go.

The print is purely decorative. The cube has no monetary value and cannot be mistaken for a real banknote.
