Zhigao Spinning Pen PANDA

The Zhigao Spinning Pen PANDA is a pen made for pen spinning, the art of twirling a pen around your fingers. It works well for your very first lessons and is also suitable for everyday practice later on. The model comes in 24 colour versions. The colour is random, so you can't choose a specific one.

How is it different from an ordinary pen? The key is balance. The weight of a pen spinning pen is distributed so that it rotates evenly around your finger and doesn't fly out of your hand at the first stronger move. You can practise basic tricks on a regular office pen too, but with a body that is too light or poorly balanced, it's harder to tell your own mistakes from the pen's flaws. The PANDA is well balanced and sits comfortably in your fingers, so it's easier to focus on the technique itself.

Where to start? Most people first learn four basic tricks: Thumb Around, Sonic, Charge and Fingerpass. They are the foundation, and without them it's hard to move on to more complex combos, because most further tricks are made up of these moves or grow out of them. At the beginning, be prepared to pick your pen up off the floor a lot. The moves of experienced spinners look effortless and natural, but confidently mastering even the basics usually takes many hours of practice.

Pen spinning is a form of contact juggling that uses pens, pencils or objects of a similar shape. It is believed to have started in Japan in the 1980s. One of the first people to show pen spinning online was Hideaki Kondoh. Today the hobby has a community all over the world, and even its own competitions.

Who is it for? The Zhigao PANDA is a great first learning pen for a child, a teenager or an adult who wants to try something new. It's also a good pen for polishing your basic tricks. Advanced spinners often move on to self-assembled mods later, adjusting their length and weight to their own style. To get started, a ready-made factory pen is all you need.
