Zhigao Spinning Pen SUPERALLOY

Zhigao Spinning Pen SUPERALLOY

This is a pen spinning pen from ZhiGao, the maker of a whole series of pens designed for spinning. Our shop also carries its V5, V12, V16 and V19 models. The Zhigao Spinning Pen SUPERALLOY works well both for learning your first tricks and for further training. It is well balanced, so it's easier to keep it moving between your fingers, and it slips out of your hand less often during spins.

Random colour

The pen is available in the Mixed color variant. We pick the colour at random when packing your order, so you can't order a specific version.

What is pen spinning?

Pen spinning is a form of contact juggling. It uses pens, pencils or objects of a similar shape. You set the pen in motion and guide it between your fingers so that it performs smooth spins and transitions. The hobby dates back to the 1980s in Japan. Hideaki Kondoh is regarded as the first pen spinner to start showing his tricks online.

When experienced spinners do it, everything looks light and natural, but your first attempts will usually show that it's not that easy. Clean spins take hours of practice, and smooth combos often take years of training. That's why the balance of the pen matters: a well-balanced pen is easier to control, and you'll pick it up off the floor less often.

Where to start?

Four basic moves are considered the fundamental tricks. Without them, it's hard to move on to more complex elements:

• ThumbAround: a full rotation of the pen around your thumb,
• Sonic: quickly moving the pen between finger slots mid-spin,
• Charge: continuously spinning the pen held between two fingers,
• FingerPass: passing the pen around your fingers one after another.

The SUPERALLOY is a great choice for mastering these basics, and later as a pen for everyday practice.

Who is it for?

For those starting their pen spinning journey who want to practise on a pen made for spinning instead of a regular pen. It will also appeal to those who already spin and need another pen for practice. It's a nice extra for cubers looking for a second hobby based on finger skills.
