The classic Rubik's Snake has 24 pieces. The QiYi 72-Block Magic Snake Transparent has three times as many. This version of the QiYi snake is made of transparent, colored plastic. You can choose from three colors: blue (Blue), green (Green) and red (Red). It's a snake-type puzzle: a chain of connected triangular prisms that you rotate against each other and fold into all kinds of shapes.

How a magic snake works

Each segment rotates against the next one in 90-degree steps. A single turn doesn't change much, but with dozens of joints the number of possible combinations becomes huge. You can turn a simple snake into a ball, geometric shapes, animals or objects. Once folded, the segments hold their position with a noticeable click, so the finished shape doesn't fall apart when you put it down on the table.
