A special edition of the MoYu AoSu V7 4x4 Dual Track, prepared by Picube. The cube has retuned core magnets and springs, so it turns lighter and has lighter slices than the factory Dual Track. The pieces are finished with a glossy UV coating.

This is a special edition of the MoYu AoSu V7 4x4, created by Picube in collaboration with MoYu. It is based on the Dual Track version, which has magnets between the pieces plus additional magnets between the corners and the core. Picube has retuned the magnetic core and the spring strength, and the pieces are finished with a UV coating. The cube comes in the stickerless bright colour scheme.
The mechanism comes straight from the AoSu V7. The core body is smaller than in the previous generation, and the outer layers are wider, which improves stability, while the design offers better protection against popping. The difference lies in the tuning: Picube changed the core magnet setup and the springs so that the cube turns lighter than the factory Dual Track. Users of the SE edition most often notice lighter slices (inner layer moves) and less catching, which is exactly what people sometimes complained about in the standard V7.
The AoSu V7 is a fast 4x4 with clearly noticeable magnets between the pieces and good corner cutting. In the SE version the turning is light, so the cube handles fast 3x3 stage solving well, and the core magnets help the layers settle into place. Straight out of the box, however, the cube can feel quite dry, and the light turning makes it harder to control. According to reviews, it is usually enough to tighten the tensioning and then lube the mechanism if needed. If you prefer a more controlled cube, consider the standard Dual Track or the Triple Track, which has more magnets.
The SE Dual Track edition is also available in a Matte version. The UV coating gives a glossy surface with stronger grip and better protects the plastic from scratches. The Matte version has a non-glossy finish. The choice mainly comes down to which surface you prefer in your hands.
For people who regularly solve 4x4 and want light turning without modding the core magnets themselves. The cube also works well as a first serious 4x4 for someone who can already solve the 3x3 confidently. You just need to spend a moment setting the tension. For learning 4x4, for example for a child, the cheaper AoSu V7 Single Track is more than enough.
