The Picube AoShi 6x6 V4 SE Frosted is a special edition made by PiCube with MoYu, based on the AoShi V4. It is magnetic, has a compact size of approx. 61 mm and weighs approx. 135 g. This version has a matte frosted surface without a UV coating.

This is a special edition of the fourth-generation AoShi, created by PiCube together with MoYu. The Picube AoShi 6x6 V4 SE Frosted uses the MoYu AoShi V4 mechanism. Unlike the UV-coated SE version, it has a matte (frosted) surface. The cube is stickerless and comes in a bright colour scheme.
With the AoShi V4, MoYu focused on weight and size, which matter a lot in big cubes. The pieces are hollow, so the cube weighs approx. 135 g and measures approx. 61 mm. That is 1.5 mm smaller than the previous AoShi generation. A 6x6 solve takes longer than a 3x3 or 4x4 solve, so a lighter, smaller cube is less tiring for your hands during longer practice sessions. It is also easier to wrap your fingers around, especially if you have smaller hands.
Users describe the AoShi V4 as a fast cube with a smooth and stable feel. The magnets in the pieces give a clear "click" and help line up the layers. This is important on a 6x6, because with so many inner layers any misalignment quickly leads to lockups. The round reverse-track design reduces blocking during faster turns. Snap-fit edges are designed to protect against popping. Even so, accurate turning still matters on a big cube, and you shouldn't expect it to forgive every incomplete move.
PiCube's SE editions are available in two finishes. The Frosted version has matte plastic with moderate grip and no shine. The UV version has a glossy coating that grips your fingers more strongly. It mostly comes down to which surface you prefer in your hands. If the UV version feels like it "sticks" to your fingers, you will usually be more comfortable with the frosted one.
For cubers who solve 6x6 regularly and want a light, compact cube with magnets that help keep the layers aligned. It is also a good choice if you are switching from older, larger 6x6 models and your hands get tired during longer sessions. If this is going to be your first big cube, the standard AoShi V4 is enough. The SE edition makes more sense if you already know what kind of feel you are looking for.
