Speedcubing accessories

Speedcubing accessories cover everything you need besides the cube itself. Here you will find timers and mats for timed practice, lubes, spare parts and maintenance tools, stands, bags and boxes for storage, as well as blindfolds for blind solving, guides and gadgets for cube fans. Some of them have a direct impact on your practice and your times, while others help you look after your cubes and store them safely.

Timer and mat

A timer with a mat is usually the first thing people buy after a cube. The time starts when you lift your hands off the sensors and stops when you put them back, just like at official competitions. If you want to practice on the same equipment you will find at tournaments, choose the Speed Stacks Pro Timer G5. WCA regulations allow it in 2-pad mode, and we offer it in a set with a bag or with a mat and a bag. For practice at home, timers from QiYi, MoYu or YJ will also do the job. A mat on its own protects your cube from a hard tabletop and gives you a fixed spot for solving. In the subcategories you will also find ready-made mat + timer sets, displays and timer accessories.

Cube lubes

Lube lets you change how your cube feels. The right lube can make turning faster, or slow it down and give you more control. You can choose from LUBEST™ lubes (XMT 10, PRO), several Adheron variants and MoYu V3, among others. Before applying new lube, it is worth cleaning the pieces, e.g. with IPA isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle. More advanced cubers will find spare parts, tools and neodymium magnets for modding their cubes themselves.

Storage and transport

Cubes carried loose in a backpack scratch easily, and even a small collection quickly gets messy. You can display them on QiYi, MoYu and Z-cube stands or keep them in the Z-cube Cube Box A. For travel, the Cube bag for 2x2-5x5 cubes, the GAN Cube bag or a case for 8 cubes with a handle are a good choice. You will also find stickers and cube logos here to replace worn or lost originals.
