GAN Robot V2 X Claw Set is a set of 5 transparent X claws, replacement parts for the GAN robot that scrambles and solves the cube by itself. The claw is the part the robot's mechanism uses to grip the cube. Every turn during scrambling and solving goes through it. This set belongs to the second generation (V2), designed for the newer center caps in GAN smart cubes.

What the X claw V2 is for

The GAN robot's mechanism consists of arms, a base and the X claw. Together they form the Five-Axis Servo Mechanism, which turns the cube by 90° in a single move. If the claw doesn't fit the center cap, the robot can't grip the cube securely. That's why choosing the right version matters more here than with a typical accessory.

GAN changed the center caps in smart cubes produced after July 2024. According to the manufacturer, the V2 claw fits these new caps. Cubes from this period are also compatible with the Robot V2.

When the X claw set comes in handy

• You have a GAN Robot V1 and a newer smart cube. In this case GAN recommends the V2 claw so that a cube bought after July 2024 works with the older robot.
• You want spare parts. The claw is in constant contact with the cube. The set includes 5 pieces, so you have spares in case of wear, damage or loss.
• You use several smart cubes. With several cubes, spare claws make it easier to swap them in the robot.

What to check before buying

This set is intended only for GAN robots and GAN smart cubes. It won't work with regular cubes without smart features or with robots from other manufacturers. If your cube has older center caps, produced before July 2024, check whether you actually need the V2 version. If you're not sure which version to choose, write to us with your robot and cube models.
