QiYi The Ball-Core of QiDi W 2x2

QiYi The Ball-Core of QiDi W 2x2

QiYi The Ball-Core of QiDi W 2x2 is a spare part, not a complete cube. It is the core for the QiYi QiDi W 2x2 cube, the spherical piece inside the 2x2 that holds all eight corners and lets them turn.

When you need it

The core can crack if the cube is dropped or if the screws are tightened too much. It can also get lost when you take the cube apart to lube it. Instead of buying a new cube, you can simply replace the core and keep all the other pieces.

Installation

You need to take the cube apart, move the corners onto the new core and set the tension again. The core fits the QiYi QiDi W 2x2. It may not fit other 2x2 models, because manufacturers use different dimensions and mounting systems.
