Picube WeiLong V11 SE 3x3 (8M Ball Core + MagLev + Edge Repulsion + UV)

PiCube has created its own special edition of the MoYu WeiLong V11 and released it in four configurations. This variant is the most fully equipped: an 8-magnet Ball-Core, MagLev instead of springs, extra Edge Repulsion magnets and a UV coating. This 3x3 cube comes in a stickerless bright colour scheme. The internal pieces are powder blue, a nod to the anniversary WeiLong V9, and the transparent parts of the magnetic core are colour-matched to them.

How it turns

The mechanism is based on the V11, so the feel is similar to what you know from that cube. Users describe the SE version as faster than the regular V11. Even so, the cube doesn't become hard to control. The most frequently mentioned difference is stronger auto-alignment: the layers clearly "snap" into place and the cube feels more stable during fast turning. Turning is smooth and corner cutting is forgiving, in typical MoYu style, without a sharp "pop".

To be honest, though, this is a very fast setup. Some people find it too fast. For OH you usually need to turn more lightly to avoid fighting overshooting. If you prefer a calmer, more controllable cube, the spring version may be a better choice.

Which V11 SE version?

The PiCube V11 SE series comes in four configurations: Spring UV, MagLev UV, Edge Repulsion + Spring UV and Edge Repulsion + MagLev UV. All of them have an 8-magnet Ball-Core and a UV coating. Springs give a more classic, controlled feel, while MagLev is lighter and faster. Edge Repulsion adds stronger auto-alignment. This version has both extras, so it is the fastest and "locks" the layers into place most firmly.

Who is it for?

For speedcubers who already know modern flagships and are looking for a fast, stable 3x3 cube with strong auto-alignment. It will also suit those who like the V11 but want something faster with a more noticeable "snap". For a first cube, a simpler and cheaper magnetic model is enough.
