A clock from the Cube4You (C4U) NxN series with a 6x6 grid of dials. The rules are the same as in the classic Clock, but there are many more dependencies between the dials. It's a puzzle for people who already know the regular Clock and for collectors, not a clock for WCA competition training.

C4U 6x6 Clock is a clock from the NxN series by Cube4You, a manufacturer also known as C4U. Instead of the classic 3x3 layout, you get a 6x6 grid of dials. The rules are the same as in a regular Clock: you set the pins, turn the wheels and try to get all the hands pointing to 12 o'clock. The bigger grid means many more dependencies between the dials, so solving it feels completely different from a standard clock.
In a classic Clock, one wheel turns several clocks at once, and the pins decide which of them move. The 6x6 Clock uses the same mechanism on a much larger grid. Every move changes more clocks, and patterns you know from the 3x3 version are only partly useful. Some methods have to be rethought from scratch, so this puzzle tests your spatial imagination and planning more than pure speed.
This is not a clock for competition training. The WCA Clock event uses the standard puzzle with 9 dials. The C4U model is best treated as a brain teaser and an interesting piece for your collection.
Cube4You clocks are made in small batches, and their parts are 3D printed, unlike mass-produced cubes, where the plastic is injection-moulded. These clocks don't turn as smoothly as a regular speedsolving Clock. When several pins are up, the gearing offers noticeably more resistance. In that case, it's better to turn several wheels at the same time rather than force a single one, because with so many connected parts, excessive force only strains the mechanism.
For people who already know the regular Clock and are looking for something harder. Collectors of unusual puzzles will love it too. This model is not a good choice as your first clock. If you're just starting out or want to practise the WCA event, start with a standard 3x3 Clock instead.
