C4U Triangle-10 Clock

C4U Triangle-10 Clock is a triangle-shaped Clock from the Cube4You (C4U) series of 3D-printed clocks. Instead of the classic 3x3 grid, you get 10 dials and 9 pins on each side. The principle is the same: you set the pins and turn the wheels until every hand points to 12 o'clock. However, the different shape and dial layout mean that methods from a regular Clock don't carry over directly to this model. We offer the purple version.

How it differs from a regular Clock

On the classic WCA Clock, each side has 9 dials in a 3x3 grid and 4 pins. The Triangle-10 has one more dial and more than twice as many pins, and the dials are arranged in a triangle. Because of this, the pins connect the dials in different groups than on a square grid, so you need to rethink the move order and how you set the hands. It is not a WCA event, just an interesting variation for casual solving and for your collection.

Build

The parts are 3D-printed rather than injection-moulded like mass-produced Clocks from QiYi or ShengShou. Puzzles like this usually look and feel a bit different from typical off-the-shelf cubes, so it's best to treat the Triangle-10 as a puzzle for relaxed solving and collecting, not as a clock for setting speed records.

Who is it for?

This model makes the most sense if you can already solve a regular Clock and want to see how your knowledge holds up with a different dial layout. It will also delight collectors of unusual puzzles, especially those who collect different versions of the Clock. If you are just starting out with this puzzle, it's better to begin with the classic 3x3 Clock and move on to the Triangle-10 later.
