C4U Hexagram-22 Clock

C4U Hexagram-22 Clock is a Clock-type puzzle from Cube4You (C4U), a Chinese manufacturer known for unusual, often 3D-printed puzzles. Instead of the classic square face with a 3x3 grid, you get a hexagram-shaped clock with more dials. This model is part of the Hexagram series, which also includes the 13, 19 and 37 versions. We sell it in Purple.

How it works

The principle is the same as in a regular Clock. The clock has dials on both sides, and you use the pins to choose which dials turn together with the wheel. The goal is to set all hands to 12 o'clock. The difference is the layout: there are more dials, connected in a hexagram shape, so solving takes longer. Algorithms from the standard Clock don't carry over one to one, so you'll need to work out your own method.

Build

According to distributors, the Hexagram-22 is 3D-printed and magnetic. This makes it more of a small-batch collector's item than a mass-produced, injection-molded clock like those from QiYi or MoYu. It may turn differently from factory-made models, and Cube4You Clock parts can be less refined than those of injection-molded clocks. Handle it gently and avoid aggressive, fast turns.

Who is it for?

For people who already know the regular Clock and are looking for a harder variant, and for collectors of unusual puzzles. For your first clock or for competition practice, a standard magnetic Clock is a better choice. WCA competitions use the classic 3x3 version, and this variant cannot be used there. It's also not a good choice for learning the basics, as the extra dials make them harder to understand.
