C4U Hexagram-37 Clock is a Clock-type puzzle from Cube4You. It works like a classic Clock: you turn the dials, use the pins to change the connections between them and set all the hands to 12 o'clock. The difference is the layout. Instead of a square 3x3 grid, the dials form a six-pointed star (a hexagram). Hexagram-37 is the largest version in this C4U series, alongside the smaller Hexagram-13, Hexagram-19 and Hexagram-22 models.

How is it different from a regular Clock?

A standard Clock has 9 dials on each side and 4 pins. If you know that layout, you quickly learn the typical moves. On the Hexagram, the dials are arranged in a star shape, with the pins between them. The pin settings decide which dials turn together. With this many dials, you have to rethink the algorithms from a regular Clock. It is also easy to solve one part and accidentally scramble another. Solving it takes more planning. It is not about quickly executing memorized sequences.

Who is it for?

Hexagram-37 makes the most sense if you can already solve a classic Clock and are looking for a harder variant. For your first Clock, it is better to choose a standard 3x3 model. It makes it easier to understand how the pins connect the dials, which is the foundation for solving the Hexagram. Hexagram is not a WCA event, so this is a puzzle for home and for your collection, not for competitions. Thanks to its unusual shape and purple body, it also looks great on a shelf next to bigger modifications.
